Evoking nature into the artistic form comes naturally for both local Santa Fe artists, Bob Brady and Rob Lang. The sculptor and the photographer have brought together a body of work that builds a coalescence for their upcoming two-person show. Bob Brady’s ceramic sculptures in As Above…, are inspired by ancient alchemical legends and concepts. Brady invites the unseen – etheric currents of feelings, memories, intuition and wisdom – into his creative process as he wrestles with the materials of earth (clay, minerals and metals, wood, water, fire). 

Land Currents invites you to journey through the boundless landscapes of New Mexico, where the energy of the Southwest converges with Lang’s artistic vision. This new body of work is a celebration of the New Mexico landscape and the colors it carries in action. Movement with the camera allows Lang to feel the energy of the earth. Each image embodies the raw, unadulterated spirit of the moment it was born.
